Susant Pattnaik, a young Indian Inventor/ Social Entrepreneur / Tech Entrepreneur / Serial Entrepreneur whose inventions have recognized at national and international level. Being a highly motivated innovator his areas of interest include scientific innovations and research. His first most successful invention Susant's Breathing Sensor Apparatus, is a technology by which a completely blind, deaf and dumb disabled person can do all types of work as a normal human being can do via breathing, got many national and international recognitions. He has been appreciated by former President of India H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam via NIF at IIM Ahmadabad in 2009 for the best innovation among 1000 other innovators. He has also been appreciated by many dignitaries including President of India H.H. Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Dr R A Mashelkar (Former DG of CSIR), Hon'ble Pritiviraj Chavan ( CM, Maharashtra ), Smt Sheila Dixit (C.M. of New Delhi), Dr Sam Pitroda, Mr James Cameron and many others. He has won several National awards and one International award too. MIT Technology Review published Susant's technology at such a young age of 17 years.
His innovations has been greatly appreciated and recognized by various national and international organisations like NIF, Techpedia, NASA, Intel, MIT Technology Review etc. Value addition to the innovation
has already been initiated by National Innovation Foundation (NIF), Techpedia, IIT-Gandhinagar, The Armaan Foundation .
NIF has also filed for a patent of the technology in his name. After refined into a product having wider socio-technical applications NIF and Techpedia would aid its commercialization to felicitate common disabled people's need.
